Does anyone know how to verify a redirected domain? It's about as easy as chewing off your own head and feels as though you are. And I'm supposed to be web savvy! Two hours of googling, multiple support tickets with various providers, a premium rate phone call (old school huh), and twenty quids worth of domain service subscriptions later, despite being integrated with Facebook and Twitter remains an unverified domain name. It's not the type of website that relies on convoluted SEO but it would be nice to have the basics in place.  Forgive me if you've read this far and you're like eh, what's he on about?   Basically my point is that something somewhere is always 'down for maintenance', unconnected, incorrectly configured or being upgraded.  The resulting congestion is like being stuck in the M6 in 3 hour tailback.  Happy days.  If you have a similar experience remember it's probably not you, it's more likely to be due to the simple the fact that the Internet is always broken!

The DNS record 'Label' type needs to be '@' in order for google to see its verification string.

I set up Who'd of Thought It in 2010, as a blog and place to share and develop ideas.

It evolved into a small community and forum to post thoughts and canvass feedback, with me entertaining the notion of perhaps collaborating on and publishing some of the content to a wider audience. After gathering some initial traction (there are some novel concepts in the archive) other ventures took precedence.

'WoTI' now serves as a occasional pleasure, scrapbook of ideas and guest posts from those who dare. But never say never!

Enjoy. Chris Thompson
