ART, TECHNOLOGY, POLITICS & INSPIRATION
Get a life! I hear you exclaim. I'm sure there is something in this though. As a mac user I rarely shut down and restart, a habit that seems deeply ingrained in the legacy mindset of PC users. Sorry you lot, I've only been clean myself for two years! My point being that, primarily due to my Apple inspired 'always on' status, my mailbox has become secondary to my browsing activity - a combination of hosted applications and websites with me cutting and pasting my way through the day. But, what when I do have to restart due to a software update I think I might actually need - even the Jobbites haven't solved that one yet, or when I just inadvertently close Chrome? Equally as I flit from iPhone, to iPad, to Macbook I invariably loose track of my browser tabbed train of thought. You'd imagine the silicon valley uber-geeks who make our search engines would have got their cloud based heads around this. A simple app that tracks my search and browsing history and critically, remembers what web pages I have open regardless of the devise I'm using - for Christmas please!
